The demo video looks nice, but I think it’s only gimmick! The problem is that the whole desktop interaction metaphor does not work. It limits the user to the possibilities of a desktop instead of providing all the power a computer can give. One cannot substitute the tactile experience from common (physical) desktops and one cannot emulate it with a mouse. Therefor we need a complete new metaphor that is uncupled from all desktop-like interaction metaphors. Don’t you think?
